Wilma Laverna Wheeler, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Westview Care Center.  Wilma was born January 30, 1925 in New Virginia, Iowa to Wilbur and Vera Garrison.   Wilma worked at Iowa Packing Co. for many years and retired from Bankers Life on March 31, 1987.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Will) Wimmer, Connie (Herb) Ruble, Norma Cambron (Denny Langer), and Bud (Rosemary) Wheeler.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, sister Maurine Streeter and brother Willard Garrison.  Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elihu and brothers Wendell, Don and Dale Garrison and granddaughter Jolene Ruble.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
