WILLIAM "BILL" LEIH New Virginia Services for William "Bill" Leih, 62, who passed away at his home on Friday, February 8, 2013, will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 12 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial with military rites will follow in the Hewitt Cemetery, rural Indianola. Bill was born November 2,1950 to Edward and Betty(Duff)Leih. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972. He was united in marriage to Neena Carico on March 6, 1971 and they built a family of five with Michelle, Michael and Maggie. Bill was a lifelong farmer and construction worker retiring July 2012 from Allied Construction. Bill's passion in life was raising Limousin cattle. He was a beef superintendent for the Warren County Fair and was most proud of showing cattle with his children and grandchildren and watching them in the showring. One of his proudest moments was in 1990 when his son won Grand Champion Steer at the Warren County Fair. He is survived by his wife, Neena of 41 years; children, Michelle (Jason) Grismore, Michael (Jamie) Leih and Maggie (Jeff) Lewis; parents, Edward and Betty Leih; brothers, David Leih and Joe (Jan) Leih; grandchildren, Chelsea, Ashley, Bayleih and Jordyn Lewis, and Colby, Taylor and Emma Leih; one great-grandchild, Jayce; and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Gertrude Leih and William and Ethel Duff. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 11 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Warren County Fair.
