Graveside services with Military Honors for William R. Kirkpatrick, 93, of Des Moines, who passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in the Sandyville Cemetery, Sandyville, IA. A public viewing will take place at the cemetery from 10 to 10:30 a.m. prior to service.

William is survived by his wife, Eva Mae; children, Cindy (Richard) Leeper, Rob (Tammy) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Jennifer Leeper, Jessica Leeper, Michael (Jennifer) Kirkpatrick, Joseph Kirkpatrick; great-grandchild, Damon Kirkpatrick; step-son, Shane Ford; siblings, James Kirkpatrick, George (Mary) Kirkpatrick; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Louise; sons, Frederick and Edward Kirkpatrick; parents, Frederick Kirkpatrick and Phyllis Boll; sister, Janis Summers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the South Side Senior Center, 100 Payton Ave, Des Moines, IA 50315 in his name.
