Funeral services for Bill Edwards, 69, who died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Lee's Summit Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2010 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Indianola  I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will follow at the I.O.O.F. Lodge. Visitation will be at Overton Funeral Home on Sunday, October 3rd from 2:00 to 5:00.

Bill  was born August 8th, 1941 and spent his life in and around the Indianola area. He met and fell in love with his sweetheart Maxine and they married August 8th, 1959.
Bill retired in 2001 after 37 years of service with Indianola Municipal Utilities.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Maxine Edwards. Brothers, Harold Edwards of Pleasant Hill, IA and Clifford Edwards of Tuscon, AZ.  Children, Bill Edwards Jr. and wife Tina Edwards of Indianola, Ron Edwards of Indianola, Don Edwards of Lee's Summit, MO. Grandchildren Kelly and Alan Edwards of Indianola, Baylie and Raegan Edwards of Lee's Summit, MO. Hailey and Hannah Edwards of Indianola.

Bill's smile and guidance will me missed by all his family and frends.
