Services for Wilbur M. Warburton, 89, who died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola, will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, November 29 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation prior to services starting at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.

Wilbur was born March 21, 1919 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Clarence and Ida Warburton.  He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and The American Institute of Business.  He served in the United States Army during WWII and was retired after 30 years from the United States Postal Service.  He was an avid sports fan and loved the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his daughter, Pat (Don) Willett; son, Michael (Joyce) Warburton; daughter, Sandy (Reg) Molln; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Indianola Good Samaritan or Hospice of Central Iowa.
