Services with military rites and inurnment of cremains for Wayne Jay Wasson, 84, of Carlisle, IA, who passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Gloria Annett; sons, Wayne (Teri Herfkens) Wasson Jr. and Randy (Tonya) Annett; grandchildren, Wayne Wasson III, Stephanie (Rick) Groom, and Phillip Wasson, Andrew, Matthew and Grant Annett; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jayson Wasson, Olivia and Anna Groom; and sisters, Dianna Quick and Marilyn Wasson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Anna Mae Wasson; and brother, Doug Wasson.
