Wayne Henry Hansbrough, age 80, of Plano, Texas, passed away February 3, 2008, in Plano.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 1:30 PM, at First Assembly of God Church in Indianola with a visitation one hour prior to service.  Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.

Wayne was born October 30, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, to Dennis Alton and Eva M. (Wilkes) Hansbrough.  He married Caroline Maples on April 15, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II.  Wayne and Caroline were residents of Indianola, Iowa for more than twenty years and he always considered Indianola his home.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; daughter, Cyndi Hinson of Plano, Texas; sons, Wayne Edward Hansbrough of Albuqerque, New Mexico, Larry A. Hansbrough of Altoona, Iowa and Dennis A. Hansbrough of Urbandale, Iowa; sisters, Ella Wilcoxen and Dorothy Wilcoxen; grandchildren, Morgan Hinson, Gunner Hansbrough, Angie Reed, Heather Castro, Brian Hansbrough, Matthew Hinson and Cody Hinson; 7 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Hansbrough.
