Vonna Lynn Brown, 46, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2010, surrounded by her loving family, having lost a courageous battle with thyroid cancer. She passed away at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA.

Vonna was born on December, 15, 1963, in Des Moines, IA, to Robert and Dorothy McCauley.  She is survived by her parents; husband of over 16 years, Jon Brown; daughters, Aubry and Amanda Andrews and Tambra Cooper; son, Trevor Andrews; two siblings, Victor McCauley and Verna McCauley Cook; and lastly, her dog, Zoey.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 28 at Cornerstone Baptist Church 701 East First Street, Ankeny with graveside services following at the Belmont Cemetery, Milo, IA.  Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with family present from 5 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the Hope Lodge in Iowa City, IA. or Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
