Memorial services for Virginia Kirtley, 87, who was born August 28, 1921 in Milo, Iowa and died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center in Indianola, will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial of cremains will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.

She was survived by her sister, Francis Williams of Humboldt; nephews, Eugene Clark of Des Moines and Howard Williams of Clearwater, FL; and close friends David and Kathy Cumings of Prole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents, Leslie and Pearle Clark; brothers, Howard and Gaylord; and sister, Lucille.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 1:30 pm. prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Opportunity Living in Lake City, Iowa or Hospice of Central Iowa.
