Services for Viola J. Blankers, 87, of The Village in Indianola, who died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at home, will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 2 at First United Methodist Church in Indianola.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 3 at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Monday at Overton Funeral Home.

Born in Atlantic, Viola had lived at the Village since 1991. Previously, she had lived in Sioux City, Odebolt and Greenfield area where her husband, Anthony, was a Methodist Minister. She had taught high school home economics.

Surviving are a son, Herbert, and daughter, Grace Sivadge, both of Indianola; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
