VERONICA NESTVEDT Des Moines Veronica (Bonnie) Nestvedt, 83, went to be with the Lord July 19, 2014, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, at Overton Funeral home in Indianola with Rosary service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 23 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola with burial in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bonnie was born in Mason City, IA to George and Bernice Larson on September 11, 1930. Most of all she enjoyed time with her husband Daryl, family and friends; she also enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, and morning coffee with her friends and sister. Bonnie was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola and Christ the King Catholic Church in Des Moines. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents George and Bernice Larson, brother George (Bud) Larson, and sister Mona Burzette. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Daryl Nestvedt of Des Moines to whom she was married for 65 years; a sister, Juanita Van Every of Sacramento CA; brother, Chris Larson of Sacramento, CA; her children, Mike Nestvedt of Colfax, Pat (Sue) Nestvedt of West Des Moines, Joe (Mary) Nestvedt of Indianola, David (Renee) Nestvedt of Des Moines, Mary (Pat) Ratigan of Beatrice, NE; grandchildren, Scott, Derrick, Nicole, Amy, Jeremy, Will, Ryan, Devin and Cara, and six great-grandchildren Jarrett, Ashley, Leah, Mackenah, Daxton, Dakota, Finley, Jayden, and many nieces and nephews.
