Celebration of Life Services for Tim H. Olson, 62, who passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22 at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 108 North Jefferson Way, Indianola, Ia 50125 where the family will greet friends one hour prior to services.  Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in the Linwood Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, IA.

Tim was born April 26, 1954 to Dean and Delores (Chesling) Olson in Fort Dodge, IA and grew up in Otho. He graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1972, and the University of Iowa with a degree in Accounting and Finance in 1977.

He and his wife Cyndee, of 41 years, raised three children with a goal to leave a spiritual legacy for them and their grandchildren; with the love of Christ, he taught his children how to be kind, brave, hardworking, independent and giving. He was deeply rooted in his Christian faith and was serving the Lord until the final hours before his death.  His mission was to witness his faith to everyone. He was strongly opinionated, had a firm handshake with his large, strong hands, loved the Hawkeyes, music, teasing loved ones, restoring antiques and gardening. His greatest passion was his grandkids, and he was the light of their lives.

He is survived by is wife, Cyndee; children, Sarah (Brian) Crowley, Aaron (Rachel) Olson and Jennifer (Eric) Titus; grandchildren, Jordan Pitts, Monica, Samantha, Taylor and Charleigh Crowley and Evan Olson; siblings, Melody Johnson, John Olson, Deana Connelly and Mary Ann Grider.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Delores Olson and a brother, Mark Olson.
