Thomas Len Lull passed away on June 10, 2023 at his home in Martensdale surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 30, 1951, Tom is survived by his wife Connie of 53 years, children, Angie, Brenda (Shawn) Gavin, and Ryan (Sonia), grandchildren, Lauren Gavin and Rachel Gavin, Naomi Lull, Caleb Lull; and brother, Gary (Diana) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Tom grew up in Martensdale with his three older brothers, Larry, Gary, and John.  Tom was a natural athlete and participated in all sports throughout his life.  On August 1, 1969, Tom married his high school sweetheart Connie Kleymann.

He worked for Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company, MoorMans Feed, Over the Road Truck Driver for Schneider International and the U.S. Postal Service.  Tom retired from the United States Postal Service in 2014.

Tom was happiest spending time with his family. He shared his love of sports with his children.  Always a constant cheerleader and spectator for all their sporting events.  Connie and Tom enjoyed spending time visiting son Ryan and his family in California.  The Iowa granddaughters, Lauren and Rachel, cherish a devoted grandpa that never missed their sports events as well!  Forever cherished is their memory of Grandpa Tom's weekly date with them to grab a donut and catch up!  He was an immensely proud Dad and Grandpa of his children and grandchildren!

Tom always enjoyed conversations with his work friends, neighbors and lifetime friends.  He could be found discussing for hours his love for his family, Iowa Hawkeyes, collector cars, John Wayne and occasionally his political viewpoint with them!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Willa Mae, parents-in-law, John and Jerrie Kleymann, brothers, Larry and John.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola prior to services with the funeral service to start at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow services in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick, IA.
