Services for Steven Matthew McKee, 65, of Indianola, who passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Overton Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services and inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date in the Scotch Ridge Cemetery, Carlilse, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to services from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Steven Matthew McKee, was born June 25, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to John Ryle and Carolyn Ann (March) McKee.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carolyn McKee; and brothers, John Michael McKee and David Ryle McKee. He is survived by his brother, Mark (Lynne) McKee; nieces, Krista (Michael) Hoal, Carmen (Chris) Bushong, Martha (Dan) Paterson; nephew, John McKee; step-nephew, Kelly (Rose) Rice.

Memorials in memory of Steven may be given to Christian Opportunity Center in Indianola.
