Steve Snyder, 59, of Indianola, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Steve was born to Ron and Esther Snyder on July 21, 1965, in Le Mars, IA. He attended Indianola High School, graduating in 1983. He then attended DMACC to become a Diesel Mechanic.

Steve was united in marriage to Carol Patch on September 14, 1991. Together they had two children Alicia and Tristin.

He loved his family very much and loved to ride his Harley Electra Glide Ultra Limited. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Carol of 33 years; children, Alicia (Brandon) Dembinski, Tristin (Lexi) Snyder; furry grand pups, Dean, Sam, and Sage; mother, Esther Snyder; siblings, Randy (Chris) Snyder and Kim (Dana) Olmstead; nephew, Trenten (Jordan) Olmstead; great-niece, Amelia; sister-in-law, Malinda (Roger) Patch-Gray; and many aunts, uncles, and other cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Snyder; father-in-law, Dave Patch.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, November 2nd at the Indianola Elks Lodge. Memorials in memory of Steve may be donated to Everystep Hospice or the Animal Rescue League.
