Services for Sondra Jean Shuff, 74, who passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 9 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick.
Sondra was born April 2, 1941 to Milo Myron and Leah Mildred (Brown) Miles in Patterson, Iowa and moved to Indianola in July of 1981. She was united in marriage to Walter "Bud" Shuff and to this union five daughters were born.
Sondra worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Winterset before changing jobs to work for the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola from 1981 to 2011.
Survivors include her daughters, Christine Shuff, Pamela Shuff, Stacey (Shawn) Lenguadoro and Monica Baringer; siblings, Milo Miles, Joan Morris, Carolyn Kirk and Phillip Miles; grandchildren, Betsy, Jason (Carolyn), Sarah, Jessica (Cory), Kaycee (Tommy), Lora (Jimmy), Rebecca, Erica (Bobby), Josh, Jari, Carmen, and Antonio; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Maia (Dakota), Devon (Breanna), Karleigh, Tucker, Kodi (Austin), Darin, Jade, Michael, Jaden, Espi, Seth, Mitchell, Jason Jr., James, Ian, Ahrik, Jace, Joey, Lukas and Jaxson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Virgil Clements, daughter Angela and grandson Michael.
Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 8 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given in Sondra's name to the family.
