A Celebration of Life service for Shirley Ann Tuttle, 79, of Indianola, IA, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Saturday, March 6, 2021, will be held starting at 1 p.m., Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Croation Fraternal Slavic Center in Des Moines, IA. Inurnment of cremains was held in the Winterset Cemetery.

Shirley had a zest for life and never believed in acting your age or having too many friends. She believed in doing things that bring happiness: dancing, music, owning red cars and enjoying the  outdoors. What made her most happy was her love of family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Dawn Mefferd and Vicki (Steve) Sallman; step-children, Randy Tuttle and Kelli (Marty) Mahlow; grandchildren, Lindsay Sly, Sarah and Sally Sallman; step-grandchildren, Cody Tuttle, Mallory and Mason Mahlow; great-grandchild, Hayden Sly; siblings, Donald Hughes, Donna Willis, and Carolyn Jones.  She was preceded in death by her husband William Tuttle; parents, Kenneth and Olive Hughes; siblings, Dale Hughes, Charles Hughes and Phyllis Hughes.
