Shirley was born on September 28, 1932 on a farm near Fonda, Iowa the daughter of Reamer and Martha Aden. She was united in marriage to Laurence Wiegert and to this union seven children were born: Jon, Steve, Barbara, Tim, Scott, Gary and Brian.
Shirley had many traits and activities she enjoyed, but gardening, raising her children and grandchildren, and watching their sporting activities were among her greatest memories. Her faith represented a worn Bible that she read religiously and watching babies grow into adults was a sense of pride and accomplishment. She rode in a horse drawn carriage and saw men walk on the moon to list just a few. Shirley enjoyed biking and loved to ball room dance.
Later in life she married Al Faber whom she met dancing on April 17, 2004. Shirley and Al enjoyed life to the fullest from traveling, dancing, enjoying time with family, taking pride in their gardening and yard and devotion in their faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale, Kenneth, Lester and Donald; her first husband Laurence Wiegert; her second husband, Al Faber; and daughter-in-law, Donna Wiegert; granddaughter, Sarah Wiegert; and great-grandchild, Joseph Devore.
