Services for Shirley Anne Andrew, 91, of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, at the funeral home.

Shirley Anne Andrew, daughter of Earl and Anna Knip, was born May 12, 1931 in Polk County, Iowa. Shirley graduated from Spring Hill High School, where she met the love of her life, George Andrew. She and George married on May 25, 1949 and they celebrated their 60 ^th Anniversary in 2009.

Shirley enjoyed working along side her husband, George and raising their three daughters. After leaving the farm, they moved to Southgate Senior Housing in Chariton, then later moved to Indianola and enjoyed their retirement.

Shirley loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. She dedicated her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and has now found her place in Heaven.

Survivors include her daughters, Anna (Mike) Brown and Jean (Mike) Garrison; grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Alison Brown, Karla (Terry) Parker, Danny (Amber) Garrison, Angela (Scott) Von Wachter and Ryan Comer; and eleven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, Abigail, Naomi, Noah, Caleb, Elizabeth, Peter, Samantha, Colby, and Gage.  She was preceded in death by her  husband, George W. Andrew; daughter, Bonnie S. Comer; parents, Earl and Anna Knipp; siblings, Ethel Hoffa, Robert Knipp and Elizabeth Higgins.

Memorials may be given to Windsor Manor in Shirley's name.
