Obituary
Services for Sarah (Sallie) Gardner Thorn, 101, who died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Kavanagh House on 56th Street in Des Moines, will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5 at the Indianola Christian Union Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in the Milo I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Kermit (Ann) Thorn of St. Charles, IL, Evelyn (Orlan) Loraas of Fargo, ND and Patricia (Vince) Fiorica of Clive; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
