Services for Sarah "Bette" Elsinga, 79, who died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at home, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery. Bette was involved with Sweet Adeline's, was an avid camper, active in the Cross Roads Church and devoted her life to her family with unconditional love. Bette left this world to be with the loves of her life, her husband of 53 years, Wilmer Elsinga and her precious daughter, Mary Lisa Elsinga; and her sister-in-law, Joann Jacobson. She is survived by her son, Fred "MBF" Elsinga and his fiancée Laura Benge of Norwalk, brother, Ralph Winters and sister, Mary Chase. Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 16 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 to greet friends.
