Sandra Kay Brown, 64, loving mother of one daughter, two grandchildren, step-son, and three step-grandchildren, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, in Des Moines.  A Family Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020.  You may join the family on our Livestream beginning at 2 p.m. on Sandra's obituary page of Overton Funeral Home's website.

She was born on April 9, 1956, in Des Moines, IA, where she lived most of her life.  She had a passion for sewing, cooking and crocheting.  She was an avid security guard at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol, husband, Darrell, and her brother, William.  A.  She is also survived by her brother Jerry Denning, Richard Denning; sister, Kathy Wright
