Mrs. Sykes was born in Ogden Utah and had moved to Indianola in 1996. She was a resident of the Care Center since March of 2000.

She is survived by sons, Lowell Sykes of Mill Valley, CA. and H. Douglas Sykes of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter Mary Jo Shaw of Indianola; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.

Overton Funeral Home in Indianola is handling service arrangements.
