Funeral Services for Sabrina Hedrick, 40, of Indianola, who passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Des Moines will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 20 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Ackworth Cemetery.

Sabrina was born on November 29, 1983 to Michael and Sharon Jones in Des Moines, Iowa. Sabrina and her family moved from Urbandale to Grimes in the summer of 1991 in which Sabrina then attended school there for the majority of her education. Sabrina also acquired her CNA nursing license and spent a few years working in this profession.

On May 17, 2003 Steven Hedrick and Sabrina Hedrick (Jones) were married. Shortly after they were blessed with three amazing children, Trevor, Tristan, and Kaylee. Steve, Sabrina, and the children lived in many places in the Midwest with Steve's work. Sabrina was primarily a stay-at-home Mom, in which her unconditional love for her children was very evident in her commitment to their activities.

Sabrina's smile and laugh was so precious especially when she told stories about Trevor, Tristan, and Kaylee. Sabrina also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her heart of gold was always present. Sabrina was so beautiful inside and out but sadly she has left us all too soon and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Tristan and Kaylee Hedrick; parents, Michael and Sharon Jones; brother, Jacob (Logann) Jones; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Susan Hedrick; sisters-in-law, Katherine (John) Prine, Amanda Hedrick; grandmother-in-law, Carolyn Buchert; nieces and nephews, Eloise Hedrick, Parker and Paige Jones, Zaydian, Samara, Kaden, Andrew Beuter, and their adoptive parents Teresa and Joseph Beuter; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Trevor Hedrick; sister, Samantha Sanders; grandparents, Chuck and Margaret Jones, Claire and Lela Cheshire; grandfathers-in-law, Lloyd Hedrick Sr., William (Buck) Buchert; uncles, Lloyd (Butch) Hedrick Jr, Larry Vavroch.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 19 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends.
