Services for Ruth White, 87, who passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Unity Point Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Indianola. Visitation will be held prior to services from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Cremation will follow services with burial of cremains to be held at a later date in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include her son, George (Vicki) White; grandsons, Craig (Amanda) and Shawn White; great-grandchildren, Connor and Lauren White all of Indianola; and sister, Jean Madland of Fountain Hill, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband George White. Memorials may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society or Wounded Warriors Family Support Fund.
