Services for Ruth A. Shupe, 86, who died Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Village Health Center in Indianola, will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 3 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola. Cremation will follow services and burial of cremains will be at a later date in the Liberty Center Cemetery.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Sheryln Hunter of San Gabriel, CA, and Susan Shupe of Indianola; grandsons, David (Rose) Hunter of Burbank, CA, and Andrew (Ashley) Hunter of  San Diego, CA; great granddaughters, Marion and Jane Hunter and sister, Frances Woodyard of Indianola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris; parents, Clarence and Mayme Cage; sisters, Louise Puderbaugh, Gwen Brinley and Mary Young.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 2 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity United Presbyterian Church in her name. Online condolences may be sent at www.overtonfunerals.com.
