Services for Ruth Pullen, 75, of Indianola, who died Wednesday, October 12 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2005 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13 at the funeral home, where family will be present to greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Ruth retired from the Warren County Sheriff's Department in 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; daughters, Rose (Richard) Grangaard of Des Moines and Susan (Kyle) Curtis of Indianola; brothers, Tom Kellar of Indianola and Jim Kellar of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Beverly Hamner of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Timothy Pullen.
