Ruth Mary Dale, age 89, passed from this life on December 3, 2018.  She was born on October 12, 1929 rural Lacona, Iowa to Clement and Adeline (Keller) Ohnemus. She married Wayne Dale on January 27, 1954, and together they had 7 children.

Ruth had a very strong faith in God, was a wonderful cook and loved to read and do puzzles.  She had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed a good cup of coffee with friends and family!

Survivors include one sister, Erma Wadle, one sister-in-law, Betty Dale, children, Roxie (Jack) Page, Lynda Dennis, James (Sharon) Dale, Geri (Layne) Henry, Rhonda (Matt) Goode, Mary (Bart) Benning and William (Dawn) Dale, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Flavian, Edward, Lester, Herbert and Giles, and sister Vera Boles, and son-in-law Larry Dennis.

A visitation will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with the Mass following at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow services in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
