Services for Russell G. Olmstead, 86, who passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola with burial following in the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. Survivors include his daughters; Cindy (Tom) Hughes of Wilmington, DE, and Kathy (Jim) Buntenbach of Ankeny, IA; step-son, Stephen (Kathy) Sutton of Perry, IA; grandchildren, Josh, Matthew and Melissa Auerbach, Jamin Buntenbach, and Kallie McCallum; step-grandchildren, Amanda Denton and Samantha Rush; four great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; parents, Glenn and Velma Olmstead; and brother, Donald Olmstead. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
