Ruby was born in Otter Township, Warren County, Iowa, lived in Indianola most of her life, and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Franklin and wife, Charlene of Dexter and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
