Services for Rose Marie Knoer, 67, who died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 14 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Burial will follow in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Marie was born near Medora, IA in Warren County.  She worked for United Food Store, Hy-Vee and Fareway  as a cashier and was a daycare provider in her home.  She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and she will forever be in their hearts.

She is survived by her daughters, Jaynell Clark of Maxwell and Jayne Mouzakis of Indianola; granddaughters, Paige Clark of Maxwell and Alyson and Abygail Mouzakis of Indianola; friend, Richard Ripperger of Indianola; brothers, Keith (Marie) Stalter and Jim (Pat) Stalter; sisters, Mary (Willis) Adamson and Shirley (Delmer) Kalbus; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay; son-in-law, Dave Mouzakis; her parents, Claren and Julia Stalter; brothers, Don, Gale, Ray, Carol, Jerry Stalter; sisters, Darlene Goodrich, Carolyn Knouse and Judy Sue Stalter.

Visitation will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, at Overton Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m.  Memorials may be given to the family in her name for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
