Ronald Alvin Starner went home to his Lord, this day, July 10, 2008.  He was born in Des Moines, Dec. 20, 1942, attended Tech High, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965.  He was an artist and owned a motorcycle repair shop for 18 years.  He was married to Marilyn for 47 years, they have three sons, Ronald II, Todd and James.  He is also survived by granddaughter, Kassi Starner of Webster City; brother, Larey (Sandy) Starner of Des Moines; and sister, Phyllis (John) Burr, of Tulsa, OK.

Visitation will be held 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Visitors are welcome to come to the home afterwards at 16111 Emerson St., Indianola.  On Line condolences may be sent at www.overtonfunerals.com.
