IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Wayne
Davison
September 5, 1957 – September 9, 2025
Ronald Wayne Davison, 68, of Indianola, Iowa; most recently of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ron passed away peacefully with family present on September 9th, 2025, due to complications from heart failure. Ron was born September 5th, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Glen and Phyllis Davison of Indianola. He was the 5th of 7 children, and graduated from Indianola High School in 1975. He attended Marshalltown Community College and graduated with a degree in Architecture and Design from Iowa State University in 1983. He moved from Iowa to Arizona, then to California, and spent the past 30 plus years as a resident of Las Vegas. Recently retired as a veteran architect, Ron held management positions at several large firms where he led projects ranging from casinos to stadiums.
He loved the outdoors, spending time camping as an Eagle Scout, hiking, and entertaining his family when they came to visit. He enjoyed taking family on tours of Las Vegas: including projects that he worked on, going to shows, and visiting nearby scenic areas such as Hoover Dam and Zion National Park.
Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Phyllis Davison.
Survived by wife of two years, Mary Rose Jimenez of the Philippines; siblings, Dennis (Tanya) Davison of San Marcos, Texas; Linda (Jerry) Depue of Des Moines, Iowa; William (Judy) Davison of San Marcos, Texas; Rebecca Burgin of Des Moines, Iowa; Jean Ann (Alan) Kretzschmar of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Timothy (Laura) Davison of Indianola, Iowa; and many nieces and nephew.
A private celebration of Life held at a later date.
