Obituary

Ron Turner, 59, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at home.

Ron was a self-made man and his greatest passion was farming and welcoming new calves in the spring.  Although he will miss this season, we know he will be watching over the cows.

He lived in Warren County his entire life and never met a stranger in this county or any other.  After talking for a while, they  would realize they both knew some of the same people.  He was always willing to help others at whatever they needed, whether it was putting in crops, taking them out, helping with cattle, or having almost any part you might need for a pickup or tractor.  He loved a good joke or a bad one and always tried to live his life by the Golden Rule.

Those left to cherish him are his wife, Diane; his mom, Tina Turner; children, Ross Turner, Ashley Bussanmas and Stephanie Babic; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Roy Turner and Pat Larsen.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Turner; sister, Peg Tometich and close friend Morris Oglesbee.

Although he will be deeply missed by those who loved him and respected him, we all know he, his dad and Morris are already arguing about something. I will love you forever.

A visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, with family present at Overton Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the visitation and the burial of cremains will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to The Pink Tractor Foundation.  For a complete obituary or to submit an online condolence visit our website at www.overtonfunerals.com.
