Inurnment of cremains with military rites for Roger Keith Wickett, 77, of Indianola, who passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Indianola, will be held 2 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa.

Keith attended and graduated from Interstate 35 Community School District in 1964.  He was united in marriage to Kathy Neidt in 1966.  Keith served in the United State Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict spending 3 ½ years in Minot, North Dakota as a Dental Technician.

He received his First-Class FCC License from Brown Institute in Minneapolis.  He was in broadcasting and sold advertising on the local radio station in Indianola and also sold cars for Dave Ostrem Imports in Des Moines for several years.

Keith is survived by his son Jason Weidner and numerous extended families.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Natalie Weidner; parents, Ralph and Darlene Wickett; siblings, Veryl Wickett, Stanley Wickett, William Wickett and Merwyn Wickett.
