ROBIN RENEE PHILLIPS Des Moines formerly of Milo Services for Robin Renee Phillips, 51, who passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 in Des Moines, after a long illness, will be held 2 p.m., Monday, December 9 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation prior to services starting at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Sandyville Cemetery. Robin was born October 15, 1963 in Des Moines Iowa to Donald G and Judith C (Crook) Phillips. She attended Carlisle schools and graduated from Indianola High School. Robin was a longtime resident of the Des Moines area working for Love's truck stop on Hickman for the last several years. She enjoyed reading, knitting and getting on Facebook. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy J. Phillips; grandchildren, Justice Phillips and Bladen Ortega; parents, Donald and Judith Phillips; siblings, Curt (Mary) Phillips of Hiawatha, Jean Benge of Milo and Don Phillips of Ackworth; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tom Goodson.
