Roberta Nadine (Scadden) Marquis of Indianola, IA, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2021. She was born April 08, 1930, in Osceola, IA. Roberta was a loving, devoted wife and she dearly loved her entire family.

Roberta was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Marney Marquis, her son, Kenneth Marquis; parents, Delmer and Flossie Scadden; great-grandson, Daniel Marquis; sister, Patricia DeGard; brother-in-law, Peter DeGard; nephew, Dennis DeGard, and brother-in-law, Bud Steele.

Roberta is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Bill) Wright; grandchildren, Laura Marquis, Kristina (Peter) Dawson, Alan (Tammy) Wright, Adrienne (Shane) Nelson, Paul Wright, and Jacob (Jenny) Marquis; sister-in-law, Gloria (Marquis) Steele; 24 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Graveside services will then be held 3 p.m. at the Leon Cemetery.
