Rob Kress passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019.  He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa.  His parents, Bob and Esther Kress, predeceased him.  Rob graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School.  He was a long time employee with the former Maxie's Restaurant in West Des Moines and enjoyed the many customers and restaurant business.  In later years, Rob worked in various food industry jobs.  Rob is survived by his two sisters, Christine Berkley (Bob) of Pensacola and Karen Houston (Toby) of Las Vegas; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Rob is interred in the Kress family plot in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery (IOOF), Indianola, Iowa.
