Services for Robert Kharouf, 67, who passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 at St. John's Basilica in Des Moines with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; children, Katherine (Matthew) Wallin, Joseph, Peter and Kimberly Kharouf; brother, John Kharouf; sister, Virginia (Steve) Matheo; grandchildren, Benjamin, Judah, Xavier and Augustine Wallin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Jeanette Kharouf. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 3 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present 6 to 8 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to Basilica of St. John's or Pro-Life Across America.
