Memorial services for Robert Lee Jacobs, 71, who passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018, will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 5 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation held two hours prior to service. Burial of cremains in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Indianola, IA will be held at a later date.

Throughout his life, Robert made many trips around the United States being an over-the-road truck driver. While he enjoyed driving over-the-road, he also enjoyed returning to the family farm, riding 4 wheelers and shopping for trucks. He was an AVID Nascar fan and watched every race possible. Robert enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren with a few trips to his favorite restaurant for a good tenderloin.

Robert is survived by his children, Andrew Jacobs, Wendy (Mike) Gifford; grandchildren, Bryon (Erika) Little, Craig (Nicole) Jacobs, Hallie Hicks, Toni (Jarrett) Jones, Zachary and Zane Gifford; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Pauline Jacobs; brother, Phillip Jacobs.

Memorials may be made to the family for a donation of their choosing at a later date.
