Robert (Mike) Gagen was born on March 28, 1941 and died July 23, 2009.  Mike was born in Des Moines to Joseph and Irene Gagen. He served 2 years in the Army with an honorable discharge. He worked in the heating, refrigeration and air conditioning business for 44 years.  Mike moved to Indianola in 1996 and married Anne Lentz. Mike enjoyed hill climbing, hunting, fishing, working in the backyard on his pool and Nascar racing.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife, Anne Lentz-Gagen; daughters, Donna Gagen of Des Moines; Kelesy Campbell-Gagen and Caitlin Gagen of Indianola; sisters, Kathleen (Al) Noland, Sarah (Tootie) Fatino and Mary Jo (Jim) Jones; brother, Fred (Dee) Gagen of Des Moines.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Overton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, July 27 with family present to greet friends at Overton Funeral Home.
