Robert was born in Dallas County, Iowa; was a farmer and he enjoyed Flea Marketing.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Indianola; children, Nancy (Jerry) Jones, Mary (Royden) Miller, Bobby, Charlie and Tammy (Vernon) Braness all of Indianola; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Consolver; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where family will be present to greet friends. Memorials may be given to Mercy Hospice in Johnston in Robert's name.
