Rick Demory, 80, of Indianola, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Des Moines. Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Overton Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Rick was born in 1943 to Darlene and Ralph Demory. He enjoyed playing golf with his many friends and traveling to new places. He loved his family above all, his many friends and all his dogs.

He worked for Firestone for a number of years. Then worked for Jim DeMatteis at Des Moines Truck Brokers as a truck broker until he retired.

Rick is survived by his wife, Kay; children, Rick Demory Jr., Stacey (Mike) Demory; three grandchildren, Seth Watts, Tanner Watts, Tori Watts; sister, Kristi Brandsfield.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society in his name.
