Services for Richard D. Graves, 86, who passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at Valley View Village in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 8 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Tony of Des Moines; daughters, Cindy "Cid" (Ed) Serva of Winona, MN and Richelle (Jeff) Schreiber of Plattsmouth, NE; brother, Ronald Graves of Douds, IA; sister, Kay Higgins of Grand Junction, IA. Preceding him in death were his wife Geraldine "Geri" Graves; daughter Joan Kesler, parents, sister in infancy,and sister Carol Schee. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 7 at Overton Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Indianola First Baptist Church.
