Mr. Broyles was born and raised in Indianola and graduated from Indianola High school. He was a retired mechanic for the Department of Transporation in Iowa and a member of New Virginia Methodist Church. He moved to Dothan two years agao and lived there the remainder of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia Broyles of Dothan, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Carole Broyles of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Stacy Broyles of Joliet, IL, Eric Broyles and Adrienne Richards of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Francis Stalter of New Virginia, Virginia Chambers and Lucille Henry of Indianola; and brother, Junior Broyles of Indianola. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Victor Broyles.
