It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rhonda-Lee Grant, 67, of New Virginia, IA. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, who left this world unexpectedly on June 25th, 2025 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Rhonda was the heart of her family — a woman whose love ran deep and whose strength carried those around her through both joy and sorrow. Her life was marked by unwavering dedication to her family, especially her beloved children and her husband, Vencent. She poured her heart into creating a home full of warmth, kindness, and laughter.

She carried the unimaginable pain of losing her son, Leslie, and though that loss never left her, she continued to love fiercely and selflessly.

Rhonda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her compassionate heart, and the way she always put others before herself. She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Nothing made her smile quite like curling up to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie, no matter what time of year, where every story ended with love, hope, and a little bit of magic. It was during those moments, surrounded by the twinkle of lights, that her generous spirit truly shone.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her husband, Vence; children, Alysia, Katelyn, and Shane (Kasey); siblings, Lee (Rachel), John (Betsy), and Jimmy (Maria); her 3 grandchildren, Endora, Keltin, and Ayden; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with her beloved son Les, her parents Michael and Dorothy Noga and rests peacefully in God's embrace.

A Celebration of her life will be held 12 to 3 p.m., Saturday, August 9th, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
