Rex Colonel Antles passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Rex was born in Eddyville, IA on January 7, 1939. No services planned at this time.

He is survived by his children, Bonnie Johnson and Alan Antles; grandchildren, Bradley (Tracy) Johnson, Kayla (Scott) Bowman, Brandi Antles, Brett (Megan) Johnson, Kasey Antles, Alan M Antles; great-grandchildren, Bryce Bowman, Sabrina Bowman, Joshuah Bowman, Nathan Bowman, Makenzie Johnson, Colton Johnson, Elijah Sullivan, Noah Sullivan, Morghen Sullivan, Amiyah Miller; nieces and nephews, Rosalita Kirkpatrick, Junior Kirkpatrick and many other family members. He preceded in death by his wife Lois (Lantz); parents, Colonel and Evelyn (Leatherman) Antles; son-in-law, Calvin Johnson; grandson, Jay Antles; sister, Charlotte Kirkpatrick.
