IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca "Becky"
Ann Elbert
September 3, 1954 – February 18, 2022
Everybody dies, but does everybody really live? Rebecca Ann Wright Elbert, age 67, lived her life to the fullest. On February 18, 2022, she went to be with the Lord, leaving her family and friends heartbroken, but deeply grateful for all the time that they shared.
Becky was born on September 3, 1954 to Richard Wright and Joy "VanderLinden" Graham. She was raised on a farm out east of Milo, Iowa. She graduated high school from Southeast Warren, then received her associates degree from DMACC. She worked in the town of Indianola where she met and married her husband of 37 years, Tim Elbert. Some of the things Becky enjoyed most...quilting, gardening, traveling, friends and family.
She left behind a ton of quilting supplies to her daughter and two sons, that have no idea what to do with them!?! The memories she gave us will last forever. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Becky was the centerpiece of the family leaving behind husband, Tim Elbert of Skiatook, OK; children, Randi (Grant) Marshall of Skiatook, OK, Mitch (Chelsea) Elbert of Winter Park, FL, Ethan Elbert of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Deven and Maci; mother, Joy Graham of Indianola, IA; siblings, Joleen Wright of Indianola, IA, Joe (Peggy) Wright of Milo, IA, Lisa (Donnie) Wilson of Indianola, IA; and many nieces and nephews along with extended family. Preceding her in death was her father, Richard Wright.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 26 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola, with visitation held one hour prior, starting at 9:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, family asks that you take a moment to hug the ones you love most because time waits for no one. Memorials will be made to the Catholic Charities, Mayo Foundation, Warren County Fair, and the Tulsa Zoo. Organs save lives, consider being an organ donor.
