Funeral and Masonic services for Raymond E. Gamble, 65, who died Wednesday, December 21, at the Hospice Kavanagh House in West Des Moines, will be held 10:30am Saturday, December 24, at St. Charles Parish in St. Charles, Iowa. Burial will follow services in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Born in St. Charles, Raymond graduated from St. Charles High School. He had lived most of his life in the St. Charles area. He worked for Dahl's Food's as a Non-Foods Manager for several years in the Des Moines area. He was a member of the Boulder First Church of the Nazarene in Boulder, CO, and the Model Masonic Lodge # 315 in St. Charles, which he served in several different positions in the lodge. He loved music, playing guitar and piano and singing.

Surviving are his brothers, Bob (Jeanie) of St. Charles, Wilbur (Betty) of West Des Moines, Jim (Judy) of Piedmont, OK, Don (Jan) of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Helen Howard and Delores Gamble of St. Charles, Marjorie (Glen) Seward of Northglenn, CO, Jeanne (Jerold) White of Norwalk and Pat (Tom) Reeves of Lebanon, MO; 3 half brothers, Rick, Greg and Scott Gamble; 2 half sisters, Shelia Langdon and Cindy Gerst.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Edythe Johnston and Dorothy Neal and brother, John Gamble.
Visitation will be held 3 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 23 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be designated to St. Charles Parish in St. Charles, Iowa.
