RAYMOND E. COOPER Indianola Raymond E. Cooper was born to Bert and Alice Cooper on November 26, 1926 in Indianola and died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. He is survived by his children, Pam (Karl) Bachof, Cathi (Bing) Hagen, Melody (Greg) Allsup, Robert (Brenda) Cooper, Alice Cooper Brito and Roger (Teri) Cooper; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Elma Joy Sparks. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and son Raymond E. Cooper Jr. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 24 at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Burial of cremains will be in the Webb Cemetery, rural Norwalk at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in his name for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
